Join Our Studio

Core Dynamics encourages ongoing membership for consistency in training, continued development and personal relationships, both with fellow students and teachers. With flexible payment plans to suit every family budget, becoming a student means you’ll have access to our regular newsletters, studio events and membership bonuses.

New students are invited to get started with a free trial class, view our class programs below and contact our customer service team, at 780-874-9988 to discuss any questions you may have. Alternatively, click on the program you’re interested in to sign up online.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once you click on the Join Us button, you will be redirected to an application form where you can apply for one of our Dance programs. Once submitted one of our Student Onboarding specialists, will be in touch to finalize your membership, which can be paid via credit card, cash or auto debit from the account of your choice. We offer 3 flexible payment plans for families – Pay In Full, 9 Equal Monthly Instalments, or 12 Equal Month Instalments (only for families with 4 or more classes per week paying via auto debit). Monthly memberships will automatically be charged on the 1st of each month. We request two weeks’ notice for cancellations.

If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, we will refund the remainder of your prepaid fees. Please note that a cancellation fee of $25 will apply.

Unfortunately term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.

We do not offer drop-in classes for school-aged students. Adults can come to drop-in classes for a cost of $20.

We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Simply complete the member cancellation form on our website to request your membership be cancelled for the upcoming month. No further payments will be taken if cancelling before November 30th, please see our policies and procedures for full details on your specific program. Please allow 14 days for your cancellation to be processed.

As a member of our studio, you will receive access to our virtual classroom where parents can see student progress and class plans as well as “extra” classes for students to try on their own time. Upon registration you will receive your own membership portal log in allowing you to view your account at any time.

Membership fees cover the cost of the membership site, your customer account and regular classes.

Features and Benefits

Limited Class Size

We limit our class sizes to 11 in Preschool dance programs and no more than 15 in our one hour classes ages 5 and up. This ensures your child is receiving the proper amount of instruction and that technical mistakes are not being missed by the teacher which quite often happens in large class sizes.

Beautiful, Modern Studios

Members access our up to date, modern studios with professional dance floors that reduce the risk of injury to young growing dancers. We also have in studio cameras so parents can view class as it happens from the comfort of our lobby. We house a fully equipped Pilates studio complete with 5 reformers, Cadillac, stability chairs and ladder barrel to enhance your workout and body awareness.

Competition & Exam Readiness

Students have the option to prepare routines for local dance competitions.  We attend 3 per year, this is a highlight of the year for many dancers in our Accelerated Dance Programs. We have 2 sets of students exams each year where students of exceptional discipline and talent are invited to perform for an examiner. These opportunities are for the serious dancer who wants to perfect their craft and also receive National crediatation for their efforts.

No Fundraising

We do not require our parents to fundraise for studio events. EVER!

Dancewear Discounts

Our members are eligible for discounts through our Johnny Brown online store and can enjoy the convenience of having items shipped directly to your doorstep.
